Hong Kong, Shanghai Stocks End Day With Gains 18 September 2018

Hong Kong and Shanghai stocks rose Tuesday after Donald Trump delayed imposing the highest tariffs on Chinese imports until year-end, giving time for talks.

The Hang Seng Index rose 0.
56 percent, or 151.81 points, to close at 27,084.66.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index jumped 1.82 percent, or 48.16 points, to 2,699.95. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, climbed 1.68 percent, or 23.17 points, to 1,404.15.
