Hong Kong shares end week with more losses 07 December 2018

Hong Kong stocks ended a painful week with another loss Friday, succumbing to a late sell-off as investors fret over China-US trade talks, while keeping an eye on the release of US jobs data later in the day.

Hong Kong, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Dec, 2018 ) :Hong Kong stocks ended a painful week with another loss Friday, succumbing to a late sell-off as investors fret over China-US trade talks, while keeping an eye on the release of US jobs data later in the day.

The Hang Seng Index slipped 0.35 percent, or 92.62 points, to 26,063.76.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index barely moved, edging up 0.71 points to 2,605.89, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, was also flat, dipping 0.05 points to 1,350.70.
