Prices Of Fruits, Vegetables Remain Stable

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jan, 2017 ) : The prices of fruits and vegetables overall remained stable with minor fluctuation in some items in the Federal capital here on Wednesday.

According to the Islamabad Market Committee Price List issued here, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major difference from the price list of the previous week. According to price list, potato sold at Rs 25 per kilogram, Onion Rs 29, Tomato Rs 48, Ginger Rs 110, Garlic (China) Rs 290, Garlic Local 350, Lemon Rs 62, Pumpkin Rs 66, Brinjal Rs 44, Peas Rs 49, Fresh Bean Rs 46, Tinda Walaiti (Imported gourd small) Rs 54, Cucumber Rs 47, Capsicum Rs 78/60, Green Chilli Rs 60, Cauliflower Rs 23/17, Cabbage Rs 28, Bitter Gourd Rs 110, Spinach Rs 16/13, Raddish Rs 15, Turnip Rs 23, Yam Rs 70, Maroo Rs 45, Carrot Rs 23, Chicken Rs 117 and Egg per dozen Rs 139.

Likewise, the rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple (kala kalo) Rs 120/90, Apple Golden Rs 98/62, Apple White Rs 88/50, Apple China Rs 155/120, Banana Pak Rs 88/48, Grapes Toffee Rs 158/130, Guava 85/50, Pomegranate Rs 180/130, Musumi Rs 165/130, Shakri Rs 170/130, Kino Rs 72/48, Fruiter Rs 94/55, Pear China Rs 145/120.

The people are asked to ensure that they are sold vegetables and fruits as per rate list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
