RDIF, Russia-China Investment Fund To Invest In Nonferrous Metallurgy Project In Russia

The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and the Russia-China Investment Fund will invest in a nonferrous metallurgy project in Russia, it could be included in the list of national projects, RDIF CEO Kirill Dmitriev said Wednesday

DAVOS (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 23rd January, 2019) The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and the Russia-China Investment Fund will invest in a nonferrous metallurgy project in Russia, it could be included in the list of national projects, RDIF CEO Kirill Dmitriev said Wednesday.

"In the next two or three weeks we will announce a fairly large investment in the Russian project to create from scratch one of the largest players in the nonferrous metallurgy sector in Russia. These will be investments by the Russian-Chinese Fund, as well as our Arab partners.

"It will be an important large-scale facility that will supply nonferrous metallurgy products to China is an example of creating a large holding from scratch," Dmitriev told reporters, adding that he was referring to an existing large production deposit that had not been developed for a long time.

"We believe that it is one of the projects that could be included in the list of national projects," he stressed.
