Ghazi Teaching Hospital To Get Modern Gynae Facility

Commissioner Rana Gulzar Ahmad said on Wednesday that a state-of-the-art building would be built as Gynae ward of the Ghazi Teaching hospital and a PC-1 of the scheme had been sent to the provincial government for approval.
DERA GHAZI KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2018 ) :Commissioner Rana Gulzar Ahmad said on Wednesday that a state-of-the-art building would be built as Gynae ward of the Ghazi Teaching hospital and a PC-1 of the scheme had been sent to the provincial government for approval.
During a surprise visit to Ghazi Medical College and Hospital, the commissioner said that available resources were being utilised to solve problem of gynae ward to some extent.
He added that beds in the labour room had been doubled from three to six, beds at examination room from six to twelve and beds at the ward increased from 20 to 50.
Moreover, Ultrasonography and other medical equipment had also been provided.
The commissioner also took notice of fault in CT-scan machine and sought report from the officials concerned.
Deputy Commissioner Ali Akbar Bhatti, Principal Ghazi Medical College DR. Saeed Ahmad, Acting AMS Dr Aqeel Ahmad Afghan, APMO Dr Khalid Tehsin and other officials were also present.
