Govt Revamps Polio Victims Rehabilitation Wing: Babar Bin Atta

Prime Minister Focal Person for Polio Eradication Babar Bin Atta on Tuesday said that the government had decided to completely revamp its dormant 'polio victims rehabilitation wing' to make them useful citizens of the society
"Beyond vaccination, job of the polio programme should be teaching out to innocent children paralysed by polio" Babar Bin Atta said in a statement.
He said "There is a rather dormant rehabilitation wing that I have decided to completely revamp so that every child stricken by polio is enabled to contribute towards Naya Pakistan." He said that polio team would put all the efforts into making sure anti polio strategies are implemented throughout the country for vaccination of every child.
Babar said "I am confident that with the level of commitment which we have right now, we will finish polio in Pakistan very soon.""I appreciate that the last mile to polio eradication is the most difficult one but on behalf of the Government of Pakistan, I reiterate our resolve to end polio."He assured that the polio team will work tirelessly to achieve this goal, and will provide all the requisite oversight, ownership and accountability necessary to do so.
