PPL Signs MoU With PBM To Support Cancer Patients

Pfizer Pakistan Limited (PPL) and Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal (PBM) on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide medical assistance to needy cancer patients
Under the agreement, Pfizer Pakistan and Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal will support patient diagnosed with cancer and are under critical care requiring novel treatments which are beyond conventional therapies from across Pakistan.
The collaboration is part of Pfizer's patient access program 'Maseeha' an initiative to broaden access to Pfizer critical care and cancer medicines. Managing Director Bait-ul-Mal, Aon Abbas Buppi recognized the importance of this partnership for the betterment of the society and especially for those deserving patients who did not have the financial support for purchasing these medicines.
He said that the overall objective was to provide medical assistance to the deserving for better patient management care across the country.
Country Manager of Pfizer Pakistan, Syed Wajeeh said, "We are very pleased to share that we are making significant investments in patient's access program in collaboration withPakistan Bait-ul-Maal."He said that the MoU standed out as an excellent example of cooperation between these two organizations in an area of public health for those patients who did not have access to these crucial medicines to enhance quality of life.
