ABHA, Saudi Arabia, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 25th Nov, 2018) The Office of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) in the Asir region has recorded the findings of 19 new archaeological sites on the National Antiquities Register, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

The Office's Director Mohammed Al-Umrah said the archaeological discoveries bring the total number of registered sites in the region to 214.

The new sites depict pre-Islamic and early islam eras and were found in the three provinces of Bisha, Tathlith, and Balqarn.
