DUBAI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 12th Oct, 2018) The Dubai Land Department, DLD, through its Real Estate Promotion and Investment Management Sector, has participated in the global Newmarket Racecourse, England for the first time as part of the Dubai Future Champions Festival, which is being held for two days on 12th and 13th October, 2018, in cooperation with the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, DTCM, in Dubai.
The DLD’s participation in the festival comes as part of its relentless efforts to attract investors, highlight the services it provides to various parties in the real estate sector, and present the legislative developments in order to attract various target groups in this festival, including racehorse owners and race enthusiasts.
Speaking on the occasion, Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director-General of DLD, said, "We decided to participate in the Dubai Future Champions Festival in support of Dubai’s jockeys and to encourage them to rank in positions worthy of Dubai's reputation in this field. This event provides us with an ideal opportunity to highlight Dubai's exclusivity in areas such as the real estate sector which attracts investors from all over the world. Our platform at the festival highlighted the advantages of the real estate investor in Dubai."
Majida Ali Rashid, CEO of the Real Estate Promotion and Investment Management Sector at DLD, said, "By participating in the Dubai Future Champions Festival, we took the opportunity to highlight the DLD’s initiatives to stimulate and encourage real estate investment. Our periodic reports show that the British investor is always ranking high on the list of foreign investments in Dubai. In addition, the UAE has strong ties with the United Kingdom, especially with the large British community living in the UAE, reflecting the strength of the relationship and the attractiveness of Dubai’s real estate market to the British investor.
"
In cooperation with DTCM, a platform was provided at the festival that helped strengthen Dubai's leadership in organising major horse racing events and festivals around the world. The festival was an opportunity to highlight the tourist monuments and offers available to the European market.
Khalid bin Kalban, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Investments, commented, "We are pleased to join two prominent government entities participating in this festival where we focussed on providing examples of the various real estate projects in Dubai to highlight its progress in this area. The projects we showcased demonstrated the ability of the Dubai real estate market to meet the buyers’ demands, whether they are looking for apartments, investment units, or commercial spaces."
The DTCM emphasised its mission to consolidate Dubai's position at the forefront of leading tourism destinations and prominent business centres in the world. The DTCM is planning and supervising the development of Dubai's tourism sector and is also developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing programme, including advertising campaigns and global promotional activities, which include participation in external exhibitions; arranging marketing visits; organising lectures, workshops and informational visits; issuing and distributing promotional publications; organising media relations; and other services, such as answering queries and providing information.
