Dubai Optical Show Vision-X Set To Benefit Greatly From Positive Contact Lens Industry Conditions

Demand for contact lenses has grown by an impressive 4.4 percent in the UAE in 2018, according to GfK – the leading global market research organisation and official knowledge partner of Dubai Optical Show Vision-X (DOSV-X) organised by DV Global Link, a joint venture between Dubai World Trade Centre and Italian Exhibition Group.
DUBAI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 09th Nov, 2018) Demand for contact lenses has grown by an impressive 4.4 percent in the UAE in 2018, according to GfK – the leading global market research organisation and official knowledge partner of Dubai Optical Show Vision-X (DOSV-X) organised by DV Global Link, a joint venture between Dubai World Trade Centre and Italian Exhibition Group.
Dubai Optical Show Vision-X, will be staged from November 13th to 15th at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Growth in the lens sector is driven by the increasing popularity of daily contact lenses, in the spherical and beauty categories.
DV Global Link has hailed positive news as a huge boost to exhibitors participating in this year’s DOSV-X, as the show’s reputation continues to rise considerably in local and international industry circles.
GfK found that demand for both prescription and beauty lenses in the UAE has increased by 3.2 percent and 5.7 percent respectively, highlighting the local market’s notable growth, thus emphasising the pivotal role DOSV-X, which takes place from November 13th to 15th, plays in terms of its geographical location and strategic relevance for manufacturers, retailers, and suppliers.
