Saudi Delegation Visits UAE Ministry Of Infrastructure Development

DUBAI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 17th Dec, 2018) A delegation from the Ministry of Transportation of Saudi Arabia explored the responsibilities of the Ministry of Infrastructure Development, as well as its assets and properties management system, during their visit to the ministry.

During the meeting with the Saudi delegation, Ahmed Al Hammadi, Director of Roads Administration at the Ministry, stated that such visits are in line with the directives of the leadership of the two countries to exchange experiences and reinforce their mutual cooperation and ties.

The Saudi delegation was briefed about the ministry’s performance-based maintenance contracts, its future support strategy, and how it measures response times for its repairs, operations and maintenance.

They also learnt about the ministry’s system, which identifies the duration of its projects, including road projects.

The Saudi delegation praised the UAE’s achievements in terms of infrastructure and roads development while highlighting the importance of such meetings, which are supported by the leadership of both countries and aim to promote overall cooperation.
