Sharjah Charity International conducts 343 eye operations in Sudan

SHARJAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 12th Aug, 2018) A medical team from Sharjah Charity International, performed 343 cataract operations, as part of its campaign at the medical camp it recently held in the Sudanese State of Sinnar, at a total cost of US$50,000.

The medical team also completed 3,600 clinical medical check-ups and distributed 1,200 prescription eyeglasses.

Nasser Masoud Bilal, Director of the Sharjah Charity International Branch in Kalba, who headed the delegation, said that the Charitable body had performed eye operations in a number of countries.

Bilal added that the medical team always seeks to perform its medical and therapeutic role in the best possible manner, to improve the general condition of its patients.
