UAE Embassies Oversee Ramadan Programme Overseas

UAE embassies and consulates in Amman, Islamabad, Karachi, New Zealand, Madrid, London and Switzerland have continued to oversee the Ramadan programmes and initiatives provided by a number of UAE charity organisations across a large number of world countries

WORLD CAPITALS, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 24th May, 2019) UAE embassies and consulates in Amman, Islamabad, Karachi, New Zealand, Madrid, London and Switzerland have continued to oversee the Ramadan programmes and initiatives provided by a number of UAE charity organisations across a large number of world countries.

In Amman, the embassy is supervising the Iftar Programme provided by the Emirates Red Crescent, Ahmad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works, and Sharjah Charity International, whereby a total of 6,400 Iftar meals are being distributed on a daily basis.

In Pakistan, the Ramadan programme is provided by the Wife of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, H.

H. Sheikha Shamsa bint Hamdan bin Mohamed Al Nahyan.

In New Zealand, the embassy participated in an inter-faith Iftar hosed by the Parliament and attended by religious leaders and a number of ministers, officials and ambassadors.

In Switzerland, the Iftar Prgoramme is being organised in Bern by the Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahayan Charitable & Humanitarian Foundation.

In the Spanish capital, an inter-faith mass Iftar was organised by the embassy and attended by Spanish government officials and religious leaders.

In London, an Iftar banquet titled "Interfaith Tolerance" was organised in the presence of representatives of various religious sects.
