16 Lawbreakers Including Six POs Arrested In Rawalpindi

The police have arrested 16 lawbreakers including six Proclaimed Offenders (POs) in the district besides recovering 7000 grams heroin, 1500 grams charras, 40 liters liquor, two 30 bore pistols with 15 rounds and other items from their possession

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd May, 2019 ) :The police have arrested 16 lawbreakers including six Proclaimed Offenders (POs) in the district besides recovering 7000 grams heroin, 1500 grams charras, 40 liters liquor, two 30 bore pistols with 15 rounds and other items from their possession.

According to a police spokesman, Naseerabad police during snap checking of vehicles stopped a vehicle bearing registration number IDG-1061 and recovered 7000 grams heroin and arrested an accused namely Muhammad Aslam.

Gujar Khan police netted Yaqoob for possessing 1380 grams charras.

Sadiqabad police rounded up Mudassir for carrying 120 grams charras.

Naseerabad police arrested Naseeruddin and recovered 30 liters liquor while Westridge police seized 10 liters liquor and held Waseem.

A drunkard namely Asad was rounded up as he was allegedly under the influence of alcohol.

Other accused were sent behind the bars for having illegal weapons.

Meanwhile, Gujar Khan, Rawat, Murree and Rattamral police arrested six POs namely Faisal, Mansab, Asif, Arslan, Ijaz and Adam Khan, wanted in different cases.
