4423 Patients Received At KTH During Ashura

Medical Teaching Institute Khyber Teaching Hospital (MTI-KTH) provided full emergency cover during Muharram ul Haram and received 4223 patients during Youm-e-Ashur
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Sep, 2018 ) :Medical Teaching Institute Khyber Teaching Hospital (MTI-KTH) provided full emergency cover during Muharram ul Haram and received 4223 patients during Youm-e-Ashur.
Hospital Director Dr Nekdad Khan, Medical Director Prof Dr Rooh-ul-Muqim, Manager Medical Record Dr Farman, In-charge A&E Dr Dr Shehryar Noor, Senior Media, Protocol Manager Farhad Khan and other managerial staff monitored all the activities in MTI KTH control room established in A&E Dept, said the spokesperson on Saturday.
The senior faculty of MTI-KTH supervised their routine round in their respective units in each shift as per their rota.
Four medical teams along ambulances and drivers were providing first aid treatment to the procession in Muharram. Doctors, nurses, paramedics, managerial staff and supporting staff were present in the hospital to ensure availability of all the facilities.
Total 4223 patients received in which 351 patients admitted in various units, 4193 various investigations carried out in Pathology Department, 133 blood bags issued to variouspatients, 334 Ultrasound carried out in Radiology, 329 X-Rays and 28 major operations carriedout in different OTs.
