449 criminals arrested in Faisalabad

The police have arrested 449 criminals from the city during current month.

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2018 ) :The police have arrested 449 criminals from the city during current month. A police spokesman, Amir Waheed said here on Monday that the arrested criminals include 157 drug traffickers, 125 illicit weapon holders, 85 proclaimed offenders, 69 gamblers and 13 court absconders.

The police also recovered staked money of Rs 165,201, 92 pistols, 10 guns, 8 rifles, seven Kalashnikovs, five carbines, one revolver, a number of bullets/cartridges, 48.391 kilograms Charas, 1.800 kg puppy dust (Bhukki) and 2,150 liters Liquor from their possession.
