Abid Boxer Not Yet Extradited From UAE: Lahore High Court Told

The Lahore High Court (LHC) Friday was informed by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) that Abid Boxer was not yet extradited to Pakistan.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Mar, 2018 ) :The Lahore High Court (LHC) Friday was informed by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) that Abid Boxer was not yet extradited to Pakistan.
FIA's Director Tariq Nawaz Malik, who liaises with the Interpol, apprised LHC's Justice Muhammad Anwaarul Haq who heard a petition for protection of Abid Boxer, that he (Boxer) was still in the United Arab Emirates.
"No agency has brought the former police officer back," he added. At this, the court adjourning further hearing till March 28 directed the petitioner's counsel to file his reply. Jaffar Rafi, father-in-law of Abid, filed the petition submitting that the life of Abid, who was arrested with the cooperation of Interpol in Dubai, was in danger.
The former inspector was considered an "encounter specialist" and had been on the run for the last several years.
