Accountability court awards 7 years imprisonment, imposes fine on Ex-Assistant Commissioner

An Accountability Court Thursday awarded 7 years rigorous imprisonment and fine of Rs. 500,000 to accused Karamdin Panhyar, Ex-Assistant Commissioner Mirpur Sakro at Gharo District Thatta.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Aug, 2018 ) :An Accountability Court Thursday awarded 7 years rigorous imprisonment and fine of Rs. 500,000 to accused Karamdin Panhyar, Ex-Assistant Commissioner Mirpur Sakro at Gharo District Thatta.

Karamdin Panhyar in connivance with another accused Ahmed Waqar, Ex-Supervising Tapedar Mirpur Sakro had made illegal entries for an area of 2002 acres of state land, in favor of different private persons during reconstruction of record of rights of Taluka Mirpur Sakro at Gharo, District Thatta.

Accused Ahmed Waqar is an absconder. The conviction was awarded when NAB prosecution made out in the case involving state land worth of Rs. 3503.00 million by the accused person. The accusedhas been arrested and sent to jail.
