ANF Recovers Over 271 Kg Of Drugs Worth Rs 62 Million In 5 Operations

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), conducting 5 operations across the country, recovered as many as 271.7 kilograms of drugs worth Rs 62 million and arrested 5 suspects, said an ANF Headquarters spokesman on Wednesday

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Oct, 2025) The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), conducting 5 operations across the country, recovered as many as 271.7 kilograms of drugs worth Rs 62 million and arrested 5 suspects, said an ANF Headquarters spokesman on Wednesday.

He informed that 24 kg of hashish was recovered from the possession of an accused in Hyderabad.

In another operation, 8 kg of ice was recovered from a carton containing 1,452 apples in a truck near Sher Shah Toll Plaza, Multan, and two suspects were arrested.

As many as 3 kg of heroin was recovered from a vehicle near the Motorway Toll Plaza, Islamabad and 2 suspects were arrested.

Similarly,225 kg of opium was recovered from a desert area near Kachlak Bypass, Quetta.

As much as 11.7 kg of weed was recovered from bushes in Jeyoni, Gwadar.

Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Narcotics Control Act, and further investigations are underway.
