Annual Budget For UoS Approved

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jul, 2017 ) : The syndicate committee has approved annual budget of Rs 4.3 billion for University of Sargodha (UoS). The meeting was held here on Tuesday presided over by Vice Chancellor Dr Ishtiaq Ahmed while among the other participants were MPAs Dr Nadia Aziz, Muhammad Waris kallu, Ghazanfar Abbas Cheena, Additional Secretary HEC Punjab Sheikh Tanveer Jabar, CEO District Educational Authority Muhammad Azhar Khan and other concerned.

The meeting also approved the appointments for University College of Engineering and Technology and Pharmacy whereas merged the departments of Punjabi and Persian with urdu department under the new title Department of Urdu and Oriental Languages.

While the department of Arabic merged with Islamic Studies department under the new title department of Arabic and Islamic Studies. The representative of BISE Sargodha Sarfraz Gujjar, Principal Govt Postgraudate College Mianwali Dr Muhammad Ashraf Niazi, Dean Faculty of Science Dr Nazra Sultana, Principal UCET Dr Ghulam Yaseen Chohan, Principal Sargodha Medical College Dr Humaira Akram were also present.
