Armed Forces, Law Enforcement Agencies Achieved Maximum Success In War Against Terror: Naeem Lodhi

Caretaker Minister for Defence Gen (R) Naeem Khalid Lodhi Tuesday said the armed forces and law enforcement agencies had achieved maximum success in the war against terrorism due to a number of successful operations including Zarb e Azb and Radd ul Fasaad.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jul, 2018 ) :Caretaker Minister for Defence Gen (R) Naeem Khalid Lodhi Tuesday said the armed forces and law enforcement agencies had achieved maximum success in the war against terrorism due to a number of successful operations including Zarb e Azb and Radd ul Fasaad.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the armed forces and people of the country were giving supreme sacrifices in the on-going war.
He said enemies of Pakistan had been hatching conspiracies against the country and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
The caretaker minister termed Mastung suicide blast unfortunate and said involvement of India in the incident could not be ruled out.
Gen (R) Naeem Khalid said Pakistan Army was the most disciplined and well reputed institution of the country which had also proved its competence across the world.
To a question, he said the interim government was committed to hold general election on time and in a transparent manner in the country.
He said all the political parties had the right to present their manifesto before the masses in general election.
To another query, he said all options were exercised as per law for arresting former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz during their arrival at Lahore airport.
Workers were not stopped to express solidarity with their leader Nawaz Sharif, he said, adding security measures were however taken to avoid any untoward incident there.
