Around 1,39,001 Voters To Elect Their Representative On PS-81 By-polls

MIRRPURKHAS, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Apr, 2017 ) : The by-elections for provincial assembly seat PS-81 would be held here on Thursday. A tough competition among PPP candidate Jam Madad Ali and his cousin PML-F candidate Jam Nafees Ali is expected.
All the arrangements including security have been finalized. The Government of Sindh has announced public holiday in the constituency.
Four SSPs, 21 DSPs, 20 Inspectors, 35 Sub-Inspectors, 28 ASIs and 1500 personnel along with Rangers would perform security duties during the polling.
Out of total 122 polling stations in constituency, 32 polling stations have been declared as highly sensitive. The total number of registered voters in the constituency is 1,39,001. Meanwhile an independent candidate Faiz Muhammad Shar has withdrawn in favor of PPP candidate. The seat fell vacant when Jam Madad Ali resigned from the seat and his party PML-F and joined PPP.
