'Art For Climate Change' To Be Displayed At Pakistan National Council For Arts On Tuesday

Gallery6 here on December 18 (Tuesday) will hold an exhibition at Pakistan National Council for Arts (PNCA) to highlight and spread awareness about climate change among the public through the form of art pieces.
The event titled "Art for Climate Change" has been organized, in collaboration with Civil Society Coalition for Climate Change, PNCA, Pakistan Tourism Development Cooperation (PTDC) and Snow Foundation.
The nation is facing ever-rising temperatures,drought and flooding that threaten health, agriculture, water supplies and hopes for development of society that ranks in the bottom quarter of nations, based on income per person, whereas, with Pakistan among the top 10 countries most vulnerable to the impact of climate change, there is dire need of efforts to address this challenge effectively, a statement issued by the organizers said.
The exhibition will continue till December 30.
