Ashura Muharram To Be Observed On Friday In Jhang

Ashura, 10th of Muharram will be observed on Friday in the district with religious harmony and brotherhood.

JHANG, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2018 ) :Ashura, 10th of Muharram will be observed on Friday in the district with religious harmony and brotherhood.

In the city main Tazia, Alam and Zuljinah procession will be brought from Imambargah Gohar Shah early in the morning.

The procession will cross its traditional route from Session Chowk, Fawara Chowk, Shaheed road, Rail Bazar, Katra Bairwala, Dhajji road, Mohalla Qazianwala and will be concluded at Imambargah Bulaq Shah. Over one dozen Tazia, Alam and Zuljinah processions will join the main procession on its way to end point.

Sabeels of drinks and eatables will be present to facilitate the mourners.

Participants of processions will recite Noha and mourn with hands and chains.

Several other mourning processions will be taken out from Jhang City, Satellite Town, Bagh Town and othe places of the city.

At night Majalis Sham e Ghareeban will be held at different parts of the city.

Strict security arrangements had been made for peaceful holding of Ashura and full emergency cover will be given to all processionsby Rescue 1122 and Health Department.
