ASI Injured In Encounter With Dacoits

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Dec, 2018 ) :Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Thikriwala police station was injured during encounter with dacoits on Saturday late night.

Police spokesman said here Sunday that Thikriwala police received information that a dacoit gang is on its looting spree near Chak No.81-JB. On this information, a police team rushed to the spot and encircled the outlaws.

The police directed them to surrender but the armed bandits opened fire.

Police started returned fire and during the encounter, ASI Rafaqat Hussain sustained bullet injuries. Whereas dacoits managed to escape from the scene.

The injured ASI was shifted to Allied Hospital where his condition is stated out of danger.

Regional Police Officer (RPO) Ghulam Mehmud Dogar visited Allied Hospital and inquired after the health of injured police officer ASI Rafaqat Huissain.
