Body found floating in canal in Faisalabad

A boy who went missing a day before earlier, was found dead in a canal, in the area of Dijkot police station.

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Sep, 2018 ) :A boy who went missing a day before earlier, was found dead in a canal, in the area of Dijkot police station.

Police said here Saturday that Umer Hayat s/o Iqbal Hassan, resident of Y-block Madina Town went missing from outside his house a day before was found dead in Rakh branch canal near Chak 249-RB.

Some passersby spotted the body and informed the police which reached the spot and sent the body to mortuary.

Investigation was underway.
