Brick Killen Owners Advised To Close Killens To Protect Environment From Smog

The Environment Protection Department Punjab has asked the brick kiln owners to shut down brick kilns from October 20 to December 31 for protection of environment from smog threat.
BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Sep, 2018 ) :The Environment Protection Department Punjab has asked the brick kiln owners to shut down brick kilns from October 20 to December 31 for protection of environment from smog threat.
Assistant Director Environment Muhammad Idrees on Tuesday issued notices for closure of brick kilns and said that the department has issued notices to brick kiln associations of six tehsils of District Bahawalpur.
He said that notices have also been issued to sugar mills and other mills whom wastage was polluted the environment. He said that actions would be taken if steps would not be taken by the mill owners for protection of environment.
