Buzdar Reviews Upcoming Provincial Budeget,ADP

Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar Wednesday to review salient features of the provincial budget and Annual Development Programme (ADP) for the year 2019-20
Addressing the meeting, the CM said that next year's budget would depict public aspirations and it would a reflection of New Pakistan.
"We will try our level best to provide relief to people while living within our resources; reducing unnecessary expenditures and taking steps to increase resources," he added.
The CM directed that routine procedure should be avoided and work should be done in an innovative way to increase resources, besides soliciting out of the box solutions to move forward.
He said that public-private partnership should be promoted in Punjab for increasing investment in different sectors, disclosing that public-private partnership authority was also being constituted for the purpose.
He said that catering to public needs would be on top priority in the realistically-designed ADP and special attention would be paid to the development of southern Punjab.
Sardar Usman Buzdar said that a new chapter of development and prosperity would start in the province as effective steps would be taken for betterment of social sector.
The chief minister was also briefed about the ADP and provincial budget for financial year 2019-20.
Provincial Ministers Muhammad Basharat Raja, Makhdoom Hashim Jawan Bakht, CM's Advisor Dr Salman Shah, Punjab P&D Chairman and officers concerned attended the meeting.
