Call For Introduction Of IT Subjects In Schools Of Special Persons

Adviser to the Caretaker Chief Minister on Social Welfare, Aasia Khan Thursday underscored the need for introduction of IT and Computer Science's subjects in schools of special persons to make them useful citizens.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2018 ) :Adviser to the Caretaker Chief Minister on Social Welfare, Aasia Khan Thursday underscored the need for introduction of IT and Computer Science's subjects in schools of special persons to make them useful citizens.
She said the government was well aware of the problems of special persons and allocated 5 percent quota for them to take full advantage of their potential.
"The problems of special people should be top priority of every government as after getting attention these people through their capabilities play due role in the development of society," she remarked.
Aasia Khan was addressing a ceremony at Special Education Ccomplex Hayatabad Peshawar.
She said keeping in view the problems of special people, the KP caretaker government allocated 5 percent employment quota for them. In the era of developed technology, different subjects have been prepared for special people therefore arrangements should be made to train special people in modern scientific and technical education, Aasia Khan said.
Subjects based on knowledge of technology should be introduced for the special people in our country, the proposals of special people in this regard would be implemented," she informed.
She assured the participants of the function that the caretaker Chief Minister would be apprised of the problems of special people and efforts would be made for their early redressal.
"The caretaker government wished to take a number of welfare steps in the short tenure." While appreciating the arrangement of software for special people by the Pakistan Disable Foundation and Special Education Complex Peshawar said such training programmes should be continued.
Training parallel to demands of new era would help special people to earn their livelihood respectably.
Chairman Pakistan Disable Foundation Shahid Memon and Director Special Education Complex Yousef Javed were present on the occasion. Advisor to Chief Minister on Social Welfare AasiaKhan at the end distributed certificates among the Special people who took training about software.
