Capital Development Authority board has approved a landfill site in Sangjani area in order to dispose of the garbage of Islamabad
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th March, 2019) Capital Development Authority board has approved a landfill site in Sangjani area in order to dispose of the garbage of Islamabad.Approval was given in a meeting under CDA Chairman Amir Ali Ahmad.Member planning Hafiz Ihsan ul Haq has presented a summary to board members.
Board has been informed that currently all garbage is being dumped in Sector I-12 upon which public in the surrounding areas have raised their objections.
This act is also polluting the environment.Chairman said that planning wing has been given the deadline of two weeks to identify the site .Board has also given approval of brochure for auction of residential and commercial plots.
