
CEO Babar Reviews Ongoing Cleanliness Operations In Various Areas Of City

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Jul, 2025) The Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Babar Sahib Din on Thursday conducted a comprehensive inspection of ongoing cleanliness operations across various areas of the provincial capital.
According to LWMC sources here, the visit covered key areas including Lahore Railway Station, Garhi Shahu, Canal Road, Nazaria-e-Pakistan Road, Khayaban-e-Jinnah, Khayaban-e-Firdousi, Adda Plot, Raiwind Road, Ijtima Haveli Road and Raiwind Railway Station.
The CEO briefed the Secretary Local Government that exemplary sanitation arrangements had been put in place at Lahore Railway Station, where over 140 workers and officers were deployed across three shifts.
Similarly, 50 workers were stationed at Raiwind Railway Station and 25 at Cantt Station, maintaining cleanliness round the clock. Passengers expressed appreciation for the impressive cleanliness at the railway stations and extended their gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
The railway administration also praised LWMC for its performance. Secretary Shakeel Ahmad Mian appreciated the LWMC workforce for their efforts and said that the 'Suthra Punjab' vision has now reached every city and village. He said that the monitoring mechanism had been further strengthened to ensure continuous improvement at all levels.
