Clogged Sewerage Creating Problems

MULTAN, Jan 5 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 05th Jan, 2017 ) : President of Traders Association and Chairman Union Council Khwaja Suleman Siddique has said that clogged sewerage lines in Khooni Burj, Shah Khurrum and adjacent areas was creating problems for the residents.
In a statement issued here Thursday, he said that negligence on the part of Wasa authorities was causing serious problems for people. When contacted, MD Wasa Rao Qasim said that work was underway to lay a 24-inch sewerage line in the said areas, which would be completed in the next week.
He said de-silting of 36-inch sewer line laid from Shah Khurram to Karri Jumandan disposal station was being completed rapidly in order to solve sewerage problems.
