CM Balochistan Reviews Security Plan Of Youm-e-Ashura

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2018 ) :Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Jam Kamal Khan Wednesday chaired a high level meeting to review security measures for mourning processions of 9th and 10th Muharram-ul Haram to ensure peace across the province.
He also took notice of the recent incident of terrorism in Pishin and Killa Safullah district, said a press release here.
Provincial Home Minsiter Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa, Chief Secretary Balochistan Dr, Akhtar Nazeer, Secretary Home Haider Ali, Inspector General of Police Mohsin Hassan Bhat, Commissioner Quetta and related officials attended the meeting.
The security officials briefed the CM Balochsitan about the security measures being adopted on Youm-e-Ashura.
He said security forces including police, Levies force and Frontier Corps Balochistan personnel had been deployed on the routes of mourning processions, Majalis, imambarghas and sensitive areas of the city.
Youm-e-Ashura processions will be monitored through installed CCTV cameras and helicopters, while Pakistan Army would also be kept standby, the meeting was informed.
Chief Minister Balochistan took notice of terrorism incidents in Pishin and Killa Abdullah districts and ordered security forces to take action against those involved in the incidents.
He said the security forces would remain high alert to foil nefarious designs of terrorists.
"All the segments of society should maintain interfaith harmony to thwart any terror bid during religious procession," the CM added.
