Court Summons Four More Witnesses To Testify Against Khurram Rasool

The Accountability Court Islamabad Tuesday summoned four more witnesses for testimony on December 20, in a scrap fraud reference against Mian Khurram Rasool an ex-adviser to former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilnai.
Accountability Court-I Judge Muhammad Bashir conducted hearing on corruption reference filed by National Accountability Bureau (NAB). The accused was produced before the trial court by the anti graft bureau.
During hearing, the accused's counsel Arshad Tamreez concluded his cross examining with prosecution witness who was a local bank employee.
The witness informed the court that the accounts of the accused's firm were opened in accordance of State Bank of Pakistan's laws.
However, the bank didn't see any transaction in these accounts. After the defense finished the cross-examining, the court summoned four more accused to record their statements on December 20, in corruption scam.
As per NAB corruption reference filed in August 2012, Khurram Rasool a proprietor of the True Concept Partnership Pakistan, and Paramount Rainbow Company, was accused of cheating public at large inviting them to invest in the two companies by creatinga false impression that they were doing business of sugar and scrap with the Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) and Pak-Arab Refinery Company (Parco).
