The court adjourned the hearing till February 2.
Karachi (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 29th January, 2019) Czech model, arrested for smuggling heroin to United Arab Emirates (UAE), started crying in the court as the hearing was adjourned.
A hearing on the heroin smuggling case was held in the Sessions court on Tuesday.
The witness from the Customs department recorded his statement.
The court then adjourned the hearing till February 2.
As the hearing was adjourned, the Czech model started crying in the courtroom. She said that the Customs officials are delaying the case on purpose.
She said that this is unfair. Crying while coming out of the court, she said that she wants to go home.
The court fixes a new hearing every time but does not take any action, she said.
The 21-year-old model Teresa, belonging to Czech Republic, was taken into custody for Allama Iqbal International Airport in January when she attempted to smuggle 9kg heroin to United Arab Emirates. The drugs were worth Rs150 million in international market.
The woman managed to pass two security checks when the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and Customs officials took her in custody after finding the contraband.
The court had in April indicted the foreign model Teresa for smuggling heroin.
