Defence, Martyrs Day Observed In Kurram District

Defence and Martyrs Day of Pakistan was observed with great respect and admiration in Kurram tribal district

PARACHINAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Sep, 2018 ) :Defence and Martyrs Day of Pakistan was observed with great respect and admiration in Kurram tribal district.

In this connection, a function was held at Parachinar, headquarter of Kurram district where Lieutenant Colonel of Kurram Militia, Maqsood Anjum was the chief guest.

He laid floral wreath on Martyrs Monument and paid rich tributes to martyrs of 1965 and others wars.

Parents and children of martyrs and Ghazis of different wars attended in large number.

National anthem, patriotic songs and tableaus were performed by the students of Governors Model school Parachinar that was warmly applauded by the audience.

Lt Col Maqsood Anjum distributed gifts among orphan children of the martyrs and appreciated the courage and steadfastness of their families. Additional Deputy Commissioner Kuram,Nasrullah Khan Yousafzai and Principal Akbar Nisa were also present.
