Deputy Commissioner Dir Lower Gives 15 Days To District Dept To Address Problem Of General Public Highlighted In Open Katcheri

LOWER DIR (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jan, 2019 ) :Deputy Commissioner Dir Lower Shaukat Ali Khan Yusafzai Tuesday held an open katchery here at District Council Hall Balambat and listened to peoples grievances and complaints pertaining to various government departments including water supply Sui gas, health etc and issued on the spot orders on some of the applications.

District Police Officer Arif Shahzad, Additional Assistant Commissioner Timergara Aleem Khan, all heads of line departments, lawyers, elected representatives, representatives of bazaar trade union, media personnel attended open Katcheri.

The Deputy Commissioner said that government officers are public servants, and they should keep open the doors of their offices so that the general public easily accesses them. He gave 15 days time limit for resolving the short term issues highlighted by the general public in the open court.

The notables of the area highlighted some issues related to clean drinking water, Sui Gas, water supply schemes, extension of Right to Information Act to Malakand Division, Construction of sports Stadium, Blocked CNIC, Parking facilities in DHQ Timergara, Drainage system in main bazaars, non availability of Children Specialist in THQ Hospital Talash, un-authorized private dental clinics and stray dogs bitten cases.

The Deputy Commissioner told the people that all the problems mentioned by the notables will be forwarded to the concerned departments for taking steps and will be assigned through Pakistan Citizen Portal.

The Deputy Commissioner stated that the government has launched the initiative of holding of Khuli Kachehri at Sub-Divisional and Tehsil Level for resolving the grievances of the general public and giving them the opportunity at their door steps.
