LAHORE- (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News- 19^th April 2019) An Indian man has chopped off his finger after mistakenly voting for the wrong party.

He was so desperate after the episode that he cut his index finger, according to international news websites.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, Pawan Kumar said he became confused by the symbols on the electronic voting machine and voted for the BJP instead of a regional party of the UP.

Later, he went home desperate and chopped his finger with a meat cleaver.
