District Election Monitoring Teams Formed

District Monitoring Teams headed by Deputy Commissioner have been formed to check implementation on ECP's code of conduct for candidates and political parties taking part in election 2018 in the district.

NAWABSHAH , (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2018 ) :District Monitoring Teams headed by Deputy Commissioner have been formed to check implementation on ECP's code of conduct for candidates and political parties taking part in election 2018 in the district.

The District Monitoring Team for PS-37 Shaheed Benazirabad-I comprises Irshad Ahmed Tunio Taluka education Officer Daur and Maqbool Ahmed District Attorney SBA.

For PS-38 Shaheed Benazirabad-II, the team includes Javed Akhtar Mughal Deputy Director Social Welfare and Shah Nawaz Babar Deputy District Attorney SBA.

For PS-III team includes Ravi Kumar Lecturer Quaid-e-Awam University Nawabshah and Abdul Qadir Lakhmir Taluka Education Officer Sakrand while for PS-40 Nawabshah-IV the District Monitoring Team comprises Riaz Ahmed Memon Assistant Vice President National Bank of Pakistan Qazi Ahmed and Abdul Jalil Lashari, Director Secondary Education SBA.

The teams would monitor election activities, rallies and public meetings held by candidates and political parties as well as hoisting of panaflex and banners larger than the specified size and any other contravention of election rules and the code.

They would immediately report the issue to District Returning Officer on prescribed proforma released by Election Commission in order to implement election rules and initiate action with the cooperation of administration against those contravening the rules.
