DVRS system to facilitate people

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Oct, 2016 ) : For the first time, Punjab government has introduced Dealer Vehicle Registration System (DVRS) to facilitate the people. An official of Excise and Taxation Department told APP that under DVRS, Excise, Taxation and Narcotics department and Chief Minister's Special Monitoring Unit (Law and Order) would authorize local dealers at district level for registration of vehicles.

He said it would be online registration process in which people would not face long queues. He said that if people would purchase vehicle from authorized dealers then they could get online registration and number plates as well. APP/mic/swf/anm
