Faisalabad Waste Management Company Chalks Out Cleanliness Plan For Eidul Azha Days

Faisalabad Waste Management Company (FWMC) has chalked out comprehensive and elaborated cleanliness plan for prompt disposal of sacrificial animals waste during Eid-ul-Azha days.

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Aug, 2018 ) :Faisalabad Waste Management Company (FWMC) has chalked out comprehensive and elaborated cleanliness plan for prompt disposal of sacrificial animals waste during Eid-ul-Azha days.

This was revealed by Managing Director FWMC Colonel (Retired) Emad Gill during a media briefing. Manager Operations FWMC Ejaz Bandesha and other officers of company were also present.

Giving the details of the cleanliness plan, he said that gigantic operation of cleanliness would be carried out for lifting and disposal of sacrificial animals waste at the dumping sites.

He said that 368 pickup vehicles, 88 loader rickshaws, 78 dumpers, 11 excavators, two shovels and other heavy machinery would be utilised for the big exercise of cleanliness in the 157 union councils of the city.

He said that 18 tons of antiseptic lime would be utilised in cleanliness campaign to avoid any epidemic disease. The waste workers have also been provided masks, gloves and hand sanitizer to avoid Congo virus besides imparting them training to check the reasons of Congo.

He said that more than 3,000 waste workers would perform duties from 7am to 9pm during the Eid days and they would be served lunchalso.
