FC Balochistan averts major terrorist bid

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Sep, 2018 ) :Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan on Monday in an intelligence based operation (IBO) averted a major terrorist bid in border town of Qamar Din Karaiz, district Zhob, a press release issued here by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

During the IBO 21 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) of different weights (total weight 235 kg) wererecovered. The EDs were to be used to target the Muharram processions.

The IBO was carried out as part of the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.
