Female Teachers Conduct Classes On Road In Protest For Salaries In Multan

To register their protest over non-payment of salaries for the last nine moths, teachers of All Pakistan Basic Education Community schools conducted classes on road at Kutchery Intersection on Thursday.
The protestors said that they get meager salary of Rs 8,000 per month, adding that 550 teachers were without it for the last nine months.
The teachers claimed that the Education Department had been ignoring the basic education community schools for the last 23 years.
They demanded regularisation of their service by giving them pay scales.
