Fine Imposed On 1134 Smoke Emitting Vehicles Last Month

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2019 ) ::City Traffic Police imposed a fine of Rs 820,950 on 1134 smoke emitting vehicles during the last one month.
According to CTP spokesperson, traffic police had launched a special drive against smoke emitting vehicles last month.
He said motorcycles were issued challan slips of Rs 200, cars Rs 300, while the commercial and heavy vehicles were issued challan slips of Rs 750 each on emitting excessive smoke.
Meanwhile, traffic wardens issued 35,266 challan tickets of Rs 7,053,200 to motorcyclists on violation of helmet in the month of January and 32,332 challan tickets of Rs 6,466,400 in the month of February.
