Five Butchers Arrested For Profiteering

On the directives of the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Hangu, Tayyab Abdullah, the district administration Hangu and food department has launched crackdown against profiteering and hoarders

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2019 ) :On the directives of the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Hangu, Tayyab Abdullah, the district administration Hangu and food department has launched crackdown against profiteering and hoarders.

During the crackdown, the joint teams of the district administration have penalized several shopkeepers for violation of food safety rules in the city and suburban localities.

The officials of the food department have arrested 5 butchers and imposed a cash penalty to the tone of thousands of rupees on them for selling under-weight meat and poor conditions of cleanliness.

The trading community has been warned to avoid creation of artificial price hike during the holy month of Ramazan and provided maximum relief the people. Otherwise stern action would be taken against them.
