Food Minister Imposes Ban On Inter-provincial Movement Of Wheat

Sindh Minister for Food, Hari Ram Kishori Lal has imposed ban on inter-provincial movement of Wheat owning to expected wheat crises and price hike of flour in the province
Hari Ram Kishori Lal said that the Pakistan Flour Mills Association South Zone have also shown their apprehension regarding non-availability of Wheat stocks in Sindh and proposed the ban of purchasing wheat by the feed mills, said a statement on Monday.
He said the provincial home department as well as commissioners and district administrations were directed to ensure the ban on movement of the wheat from Sindh to stop flow of wheat stocks from Sindh to other provinces.
He said that Punjab government has also imposed a ban on the movement of wheat so as to stop flow of wheat to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Afghanistan.
