Gov't To Promote Education Friendly Policy: Noor-ul-Haq Qadri

Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony Sahibzada Noor-ul-Haq Qadri Wednesday said under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the government wanted to promote education friendly policy in the country.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Oct, 2018 ) :Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony Sahibzada Noor-ul-Haq Qadri Wednesday said under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the government wanted to promote education friendly policy in the country.
Speaking at a two-day 'International Conference on Contemporary Ideological and Moral Challenges to Muslim Societies and their Solution from Islamic Perspective,' he said the present government wanted to make Prime Minister House as University which was ample proof of its education friendly policy.
The conference was organized by the Department of Islamic Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences National University of Modern Languages (NUML) in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC).
The minister said that Imran Khan emphasized on rights of Afghani and Bengali nationals residing in Pakistan under the religious spirit but the matter was politicized by the opposition parties.
Noor-ul-Haq Qadri said the nature had endowed Islamic world with rich natural resources but despite that the whole Muslim world was facing severe challenges.
"To get rid of these challenges, we will have to follow the teaching of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) to bring ourselves out of sheer ignorance," the minister added.
The minister said that it was conspiracy of someone else to divide the Islamic world but Muslims themselves were being used for this purpose on the basis of sectarianism.
He said that it was responsibility of the religious scholars to teach every person about love and peace, adding that they should tell the people about their obligation regarding day to day activities.
On the occasion, Rector NUML University Major General (Retd) Zia ud Din Najam said that Islamic world was passing through such a critical situation which never had been witnessed in the history.
He said the country recently underwent through a period of worst extremism and our internal issues had affected those who always get ready to help us in difficult time.
Prof Dr Masoom Yasinzai, Chairman Department of Islamic Studies NUML Syed Abdul Ghaffar Bokhari also spoke on the occasion.
At the end, Rector NUML, Major General (Retd) Zia ud Din Najam presented shield to Minister.
