Govt To Take Measures For Maintaining Peace In Balochistan: Ijaz Ahmad Shah

Minister for Interior Ijaz Ahmad Shah Thursday reiterated that the government would take every possible measure to maintain peace in Balochistan
During his visit to Headquarters Frontier Corps (North), the minister urged all the concerned quarters for implementing all the points of National Action Plan (NAP).
Ijaz Shah said that directions had been issued to the officials of the provincial ministry of interior to further strengthen coordination among the provinces.
He appreciated the performance of Frontier Crops Balochistan for their efforts in maintaining law and order and measures to control criminal activities in the province.
The minister also met with Inspector General (IG) Frontier Crops (FC) (North) Major General Fayaz Hussain Shah and IG FC (South) Major General Saeed Ahmed Nagra.
Ijaz Shah was briefed about the operational preparations, surveillance of border and maintenance of law and order by the Frontier Crops in Balochistan.
During the visit, the minister handed over the latest bomb disposal equipment from the Ministry of Interior to the law enforcement agencies.
Ijaz Shah laid wreath on Yaadgar-e-Shuhada and offered prayers.
