ICT Police Claims Apprehending 49 Alleged Drug Peddlers

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Dec, 2018 ) :Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police has claimed apprehending 49 alleged drug peddlers in last fortnight in a crackdown launched against the outlaws on the directives of State Minister for Interior Shehryar Afridi.
According to a press release, a total of 37 cases have been registered against the accused drug peddlers.
The police have claimed confiscating 7,250 gram Charas, 930 liter liquor, 40 can beer and 205 gram heroine from their possession.
The report of crackdown against the drug peddlers has been presented to the state minister, who appreciated the performance of ICT police and directed to expedite against drug peddlers.
Afridi said youth is the asset of the nation and saving them from drugs is priority of the interior ministry.
