Independence Day Celebrations: All Temples, Gurdawaras Also Decorated

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Aug, 2018 ) :Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Secretary Muhammad Tariq Wazeer has said that all temples and gurdawars in the country have been decorated with lights, buntings and national flags in connection with the Independence Day celebrations.
He said that the board preparations for celebrating the Independence Day of Pakistan have reached their peak. He said the ETPB head office as well as its zonal and district offices had also been decorated with national flags and colourful lights.
He said that on August 14, a flag-hoisting and cake-cutting ceremony would be held at 10am at the board's office.
Another ceremony in connection with the Independence Day would be held at Minar-i-Pakistan with the minority leaders participating in it.
